Carrie Fan
English Grammar Teacher
Ms. Carrie Fan graduated from Shandong University in Jinan, PR China in 1984 with a major in British and American literature. In 2001 she received her teaching certification from the University of the West of Scotland, Paisley in Renfrewshire, United Kingdom. Ms. Fan has always loved teaching and enjoys the company of young people. She has taught English phonetics, grammar, vocabulary, reading skills and testing strategies to college students at Tsingtao Science and Technology University, and to Yucai juniors and seniors. In addition to teaching in the classroom, Ms Fan is the Head Teacher. In this capacity she coordinates class management and helps to prevent the misunderstandings that sometimes occur as Chinese students learn Western culture. She finds it most rewarding to see how well the students adapt to these challenges and she believes firmly that they will be outstanding global citizens in the future. Finding ways to motivate young people, working with people of all ages and sharing in the growth of both students and staff are the unique rewards of good teaching. Ms. Fan agrees, adding an old saying, “Teaching is the most brilliant job under the sun.” Feel free to contact Ms. Carrie Fan regarding the English Grammar program, or her role as Head Teacher. |
