Ms. Gloria Guo graduated from Jinan University in the Guangdong Province in 2012. She spent her summer holidays working as an intern at several places. In 2009 she spent her summer break working as a camp teaching assistant for New Oriental’s English Immersion Summer Camp . In the summers of 2010 and 2011 she worked for InterLangua’s American Scene Summer Camp as the camp coordinator for 25 American credentialed teachers, 25 certified Chinese teachers and over 400 students.
Upon graduation in 2012, Ms Guo joined InterLangua’s YCID as Program Manager. Her first project in this position was to manage InterLangua’s American Scene Summer Camp in 2012. She believes that students must prepare for study abroad, not only by English immersion in China, but by traveling abroad to experience Western culture first hand. For this reason she organized the successful 2013 U.S. Job Shadow Program, in which students travelled to the U.S. and went to work with Americans to experience various types of employment firsthand.
Ms. Guo is also responsible for marketing YCID to students and parents. Knowing a great deal about American universities and the application process, she is also the graduating students’ college counselor. She was promoted to Administrative Coordinator at YCID in 2014.
Please feel free to contact with Ms. Guo if you have any questions about summer camp program, study tour, or job shadow program.
